Online (Video) Counseling
At SCo Psychotherapy, we have the experience and passion to assist people with improving their lives one step at a time. This transfers to the video counseling we offer. For our video counseling, we only use a HIPAA-compliant program. We’ve done our homework to make sure we only provide professional, confidential services; and this is also true for video counseling. When you meet with one of our counselors in a video session, you can expect to meet with someone face-to-face who listens well and works with you to help you achieve your goals. You get to sit back and relax in the comfort of your own home, and you can choose a time for your session that works well for you. Video counseling isn’t for everyone, but overall it isn’t very different from in-person counseling, and many people like the added convenience and privacy. About Us
Rebecca A. Patterson, LPC, LAC

Rebecca is a trained Counselor and approved provider for Prepare/Enrich Couples’ Counseling, and also offers teletherapy for youth and adults.  She has worked with varied populations, particularly those in the midst of individual or family crisis and transition.  Rebecca is passionate about helping clients understand their present battles and develop strategies to overcome them.  She has lived all over the country and internationally, but has resided in Colorado since 2008.  Rebecca is bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

Rebecca ha terminado estudios universitarios en consejera y está capacitada en consejería para parejas en el modelo de Prepare/Enrich.  Ella ha trabajado con una diversa población, enfocándose a indivíduos y familias en medio de crisis y transición.  La pasión de Rebecca es ayudar a sus pacientes a que puedan comprender las batallas que se presenten y desarrollar estratégias para superarlas.  Ella ha radicado en varios estados y países, pero reside en Colorado desde el 2008.  Rebecca es bilingüe, inglés y español.

Angie Reynolds, MA, LPC
Angie is a mental health evaluator and counselor for SCo Psychotherapy, having a Master's in counseling.  Over the past nine years she has worked with adults and youth utilizing teletherapy, in-person counseling and conducting multiple types of evaluations.  Her passion includes using creativity to navigate, process and problem-solve difficulties while working toward their goals together.

Cheryl A Downey, PhD
Cheryl is a licensed clinical psychologist and is the director of SCo Psychotherapy, where she largely runs the organization, performs evaluations, and schedules a small number of counseling sessions. She has over a decade of clinical experience, and is a Colorado native. She has roots in both Pueblo and Colorado Springs, and is passionate about helping people heal and become who they were meant to be.

Hilary Doyle, MA, LPC

Hilary completed her Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her professional experience includes nearly two decades of work in community mental health, private practice and instruction of collegiate level psychology courses. She is a Nebraska native residing in Colorado with her husband and three young children, two of the three adopted through the foster care system. Hilary is a mental health evaluator and counselor with SCo Psychotherapy with special interest in helping clients navigate the struggles associated with anxiety, depression and trauma.

Hilary Gutel, MS, LPCC
Hilary currently operates as a mental health evaluator and counselor with SCo Psychotherapy. In 2016, she graduated with her Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completed her LPCC shortly after moving to Colorado. Hilary worked with at-risk young woman for five years where she provided support, coping skills, and resources to help them and their families. She is a licensed counselor candidate who enjoys working with individuals wanting to grow, improve and learn-specifically treating dysfunctional thinking patterns, habits and relationships.

Danielle Wortley, MA, LPC
Danielle has worked in the world of Foster and Adoption for over 15 years and has a deep passion for this population as well as others who desire to work through their current struggles in order to find healing and hope in life. Danielle attended grad school at Colorado Christian University and graduated with her Master's of Arts in Counseling in 2011. Danielle lives in Colorado Springs with her husband and two small children. She currently works with adults, teens, children, and families.
